Pitch Season 2 Rumor: Will Ginny Have Tommy John Surgery?

So Pitch Has  A Lot Of Foreshadowing and Oscar Did Mention Tommy John Surgery So Take You Might Want To Take A Seat For This News...

With Ginny ending the season injured speculation came out and some think she will get Tommy John Surgery, meaning she wouldn't pitch theoretically a whole baseball season, so is the rumor true? According to an interview done by The Hollywood Reporter with Kevin Falls he states this when asked about the injury:

That was always the plan. We knew early on that we wanted her to end the season on an injury. MLB didn't want her to blow out her arm pitching and didn't like that message, which we understood. We also didn't want an injury that would take her out for a year and a half — like a Tommy John surgery — since she had to be ready to pitch next season. We modeled the story after [the show's on- and off-screen pitching coach and former MLB pitcher] Gregg Olson, who hurt his arm fielding a bunt. What you see in the finale is based on his injury, which he came back from the following year."

So if your curious as to what was Gregg Olson's injury, with research we found out that Olson had a torn elbow ligament so could Ginny possibly be facing the same fate? Only time will tell...
